Cururu toad / Sapo Cururú (Bufo ictericus)



The Cururu toad is a large terrestrial amphibian living in woods and being adapted to an urban environment. Commonly used breeding sites for this species are next to roads, in puddles, pasture ponds, and slow moving pasture streams. This species is widely distributed throughout the country.
El sapo Cururú es un anfibio terrestre de porte bastante prominente que vive en los montes y se adaptado a los ambientes urbanos. Comúnmente utiliza los bordes de caminos, charcos y cañadas. Esta especie está distribuída ampliamente por todo el país.
